Wind tunnel, Shift Manager

 

Shift Managers take responsibility for tunnel operations whilst on duty.

 

Shift Managers run the day to day operation of the tunnel. They open & close the business are instructor qualified and work in rotation as an instructor during their shifts. They are responsible for all systems at the tunnel during their shift

The three major areas of responsibility are:

1.      Shift rotas and duties

2.      Front office operations & retail

3.      Safety & training

 

A deep commitment to customer service as a way of life will be of paramount importance along with a commitment to safety. The candidate should be able to undertake heavy physical work (instructor duties) and be prepared to work anti-social and long hours. Experience of the retail or leisure industry working with customers and staff is helpful and desired.

  • Able to type and produce customer flight certificates
  • Technically capable of operating the tunnel and its systems
  • Willing and able to operate anti-social hours and shifts
  • Focus on tunnel business
  • A strong work ethic
  • A ‘can do’ attitude
